Two markets were used to replicate the study design in a different country and language. In this study, we compared two different search engine results page (SERP) treatments for two different markets, which we’ll call “the Western market” and “the European market” (made-up terms for the study). The implications of our findings are that in the future, SEO is where the group sees a high area of focus for review star usage, as this seems to yield higher results. There was significantly higher click-through rate for organic 1 SERP result with review stars, based on surveys for both the Western and European brands.Ĭonclusion: The review stars for both companies resulted in a significantly higher click-through rate for organic SERP pages. ![]()
